This is a big week in updates - Two big ones and two little ones.
New candidate profiles you can customize
We updated the design of candidate profiles and individual candidates will now have their own discrete web page in Hiretual. That means you can share a link to a specific candidate rather than a project when asking for commentary from a hiring manager or another member of your team. For Hiretual Pro users, you can also edit the information of candidates as you learn more about them. These changes are specific to your Hiretual Team and will not be shared with any other organization.
One thing to note - the notes and tags that you make while on a candidate's unique profile page will be global. That means that they will display on every project in your organization. Use this to point out really strong candidates that may not have been a perfect fit before. That way when they show up in a search, other recruiters will know to reach out.
With the design update we also added a few new modules to the candidate profile - expanded job history, projects, and recent outreach.
Expanded Job History - now you can see all available details about the specific jobs in a candidate's past. Just click "more" to expand any specific job to show all the details.
Projects will show you all of the existing projects in your organization that a candidate is already a part of. This will help you identify if your organization has already reached out to candidate or if they are already in the pipeline for another position.
Recent Tracks will show you any recent emails, follow-ups, or nurture tracks that were sent the candidate. We've also implemented a warning that will let you know if someone you're reaching out to has been contacted in the last 90 days.
We've completely re-built the way we handle imported data to make it more flexible. This allows you to add information outside the standard formats when importing candidates and lets Hiretual recognize + import candidates that we don't have any information on. Just like when editing a candidate profile directly, any new information you add is specific to your Hiretual Account (company level) and will not be shared with other organizations.
Beyond the functional, we also updated import's visual design to better match the style of the rest of Hiretual V3. One more quality of life adjustment - we improved the automatic column mapping on uploaded csv files so that you don't have to spend as much time filling out drop-down lists.
While talking about database structure may seem boring, it's actually really important, so we'll do a whole blog discussing why it matters a bit later.
Mass select candidates in a project stage
Now when you choose to select a page-worth of candidates, we'll give you the option to select all of the candidates in a specific stage. This makes it a lot easier to move candidates to a new project, sync to your ATS, export, or build a new talent group.
Focus on contactable candidates
We've added a new option to the filter bar on projects and the candidates page - "has contact information." This will limit visible candidates to just those who we have a known email or phone number for.
One last thing - we've been told by users that it's a bit hard to keep up with our constant updates and improvements. We hear you, so we're making the notification box more obvious when you log in. Hope you love it.
